Who I Am & What I Have In Christ
The aspects of salvation
Continued (Part 1)
Titus 3:5  see not because of anything I have done or will do

I am secure because...

Ephesians 1:5-8  see I am accepted because of Christ, never because of me. My focus is not on how well I fulfill my obedience, but on Him who is my righteousness, on Him who works in me so that I may become all He has ordained me to become.
2 Corinthians 5:17  see I am a new creature in Christ. What I used to be is dead and has not power to resurrect itself because it has passed away
Ephesians 2:8-9  see
2 Timothy 1:9
Romans 5:8
Romans 9:16
John 1:13
James 1:18
Romans 9:1
Jude 1:24
My salvation was His idea, His plan, not mine. I didn't know how to make Him save and accept me, and I don't know how to make Him keep me from falling. But my salvation and and His keeping me are not His two plans but His one plan that He has purposed to perform. Since He was able to accomplish the first part of His plan when I was His enemy, why should I doubt His ability and desire to finish all of His plan for me now that I am His son? I rest in His ability to bring about His will toward me.
1 Corinthians 1:8-9  see
Romans 16:25
2 Corinthians 1:21
1 Thessalonians 3:13
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
1 Peter 1:5  see
1 Peter 5:10
2 Thessalonians 3:3
God is willing, able, faithful, and desirous to establish, keep, and preserve me. I can not ultimately frustrate His purpose for it is my deepest desire that He be Lord of my life. And He has no lack of ability in being able to keep me. Since He saw my every choice for the beginning of time, He foreknew all the choices I could make after His salvation. He knew even my most foolish, stupid and rebellious choices could not prevent Him from accomplishing all that He has purposed and determined for me.
2 Timothy 2:11-13  see My perseverance is due to His faithfulness. Though I may falter He will not fail to keep me to the end
1 Corinthians 10:13  see I cannot be tempted so much that I am in permanent eternal danger
Romans 8:1-2  see I am free from condemnation.
Romans 8:28  see I am assured that God works for my good in all circumstances.
Romans 8:31-39  see I am free from any condemnation brought against me and I cannot be separated from the love of God by anything because Christ gives me power to persevere through all that could separate me (37)
2 Corinthians 1:21-22  see I have been established, anointed, and sealed by God.
Colossians 3:1-4  see I am hidden with Christ in God.
Philippians 1:6  see I am confident that God will complete the good work He started in me.
Philippians 3:20  see I am a citizen of heaven.
2 Timothy 1:7  see I have not been given a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind.
1 John 5:18  see I am born of God and the evil one cannot (ultimately) touch me.
John 10:26-29  see I cannot be taken from Jesus. He won't lose me or give me up
Romans 4:6  see My righteousness and acceptability before God is not based on what I do. It is based on what He has done
Romans 10:4-10  see I rest in the righteousness of Christ, which is mine, and is the only righteousness that can ever be accepted by God

The basis of my significance is Him

Galatians 3:2-3  see I can rely on His significance as my own. Trying to establish my own righteousness by obeying the law is error, rather it is because His nature and Being is my Life, that doing those things pleasing in His sight do get done and obedience is a result of His working in me Colossians 1:29, Philippians 2:13
John 15:5  see I am a branch of Jesus Christ, the true vine, and a channel of His life.
John 15:16  see I have been chosen and appointed to bear fruit.
1 Corinthians 3:16  see I am God's temple.
2 Corinthians 5:17-21  see I am a minister of reconciliation for God.
Ephesians 2:6  see I am seated with Jesus Christ in the heavenly realm.
Ephesians 2:10  see I am God's workmanship.
Ephesians 3:12  see I may approach God with freedom and confidence.
Philippians 4:13  see I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.

What My Father is Like toward me

Luke 12:32  see

He delights in giving me His kingdom
Matthew 25:26b  see He reaps where He has not sowed, and gathers where He has not strawed. Therefore it is easy for Him to do anything. I risk nothing when I obey him.
Zephaniah 3:17  see He is in my midst (within me and represented in my brothers and sisters in Christ) and is mighty; he will save me from danger, he rejoices over me with joy and singing, He will rest in his love for me,

2 Peter 1:3  see

Because He knows I am without power and ability He, by His divine power has given me all things that pertain unto life and godliness.

Romans 8:32  see

He freely, willingly, delights to give me all things good for me (as He determines good). He did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for me and you, so why would He ever even think of not freely giving me and you all things?
